CheckBM Bridge is a lightweight Chrome extension that acts as a secure proxy bridge between the CheckBM web application (checkbm.tools-fb.com) and your Facebook browser session. The extension does not contain any user interface — all features are provided by the web application. This Privacy Policy explains how the extension handles user data.

🔧 How It Works

The extension serves as a proxy bridge:

The web application sends API requests to the extension via Chrome's messaging API
The extension forwards these requests to Facebook's servers using your existing browser cookies
The responses are returned to the web application for display

Your Facebook session credentials never leave your browser. The web application cannot access your Facebook cookies directly — the extension bridges that gap securely.

🚫 Data We Do NOT Collect

Personal information (name, phone number, address, etc.)
Browsing history or web activity
Analytics, telemetry, or tracking data
User accounts or login credentials
Facebook tokens or cookies — these stay in your browser

📡 Data Transmission

Facebook API Requests (via Bridge)

All requests to Facebook (facebook.com, graph.facebook.com, etc.) are made from your browser using your existing logged-in session. The extension acts as a proxy — it attaches your Facebook cookies to outgoing requests but never stores or transmits them externally.

Our Web Application

The web application at checkbm.tools-fb.com communicates with the extension via Chrome's externally_connectable messaging API. BM IDs may be sent to our server for status verification:

Transmitted over HTTPS (encrypted)
Processed in real-time — not stored on our servers
Never sold or shared with third parties

Note Online

If you choose to export results from the web application, the output text is sent to note.tools-fb.com to create a temporary shareable note.

💾 Local Storage

The extension itself does not store any data. It operates statelessly as a proxy bridge. The web application at checkbm.tools-fb.com uses browser localStorage to save user preferences (language, settings, session results) — this data remains on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.

🔑 Permissions
